TORONTO - As other companies are cutting back, Molson is proud to devote $275,000 to the National Mentoring Program. The first program of its kind in North America, the NMP matches top students from university business schools with corporate business mentors and employs them in Canadian charities.

TORONTO - The international humanitarian organization Right to Play has been
told by the International Olympic Committee it is not welcomed at the
Vancouver 2010 Winter Games, or future Olympics.
In today's Globe and Mail, Johann Koss, president and chief executive officer for Right to Play, says he learned of the IOC's decision in a Dec. 23 letter.
“My understanding of this letter is we can not be involved in any
of the Olympic venues or the Olympic village,” Mr. Koss told The
Canadian Press in an interview from Toronto.

ZOO STUNG BY DRAMATIC DECREASE IN DONATIONS |

The Toronto Zoo has been stung by as much as a 50% drop in private
donors in recent months after the fight over control of its fundraising
hit the headlines.
Elizabeth Huggins, vice-chairman of Toronto Zoo Foundation,
the volunteer fundraising arm that has been given notice to disband
effective March 11, told Toronto Sun columnist Sue-Ann Levy that while many donors "remain
confident," some are "holding off" giving money "until everything is
resolved" with respect to the zoo's fundraising controversy
