UNITED WAY RAISES $107.5M

TORONTO - The United Way of Toronto raised $107.5-million in its recent annual campaign, its second-highest total despite the declining economy, the charity announced last night.

United Way of Toronto president and chief executive officer Frances Lankin called the tally a great success.
